Céad míle fáilte ar ais roimh gach éinne. Tá súil agam go raibh samhradh maith ag gach duine agus go bhfuilimid ar fad réidh le bliain úr thaitneamhach, thairbhreach a bheith againn. Tá fáilte speisialta roimh na naíonáin nua.
A hearty welcome back to one and all. I hope that everyone had a great summer and that we are all well rested and ready for an enjoyable and fruitful new school year. A special welcome to our new Junior Infants who begin the school journey today.

Sa chaoi is nach mbeidh éadaí srl. caillte ag na páistí cuirigí a n-ainmneacha ar gach aon rud a thógann siad ar scoil.
To avoid lost clothing etc. please put your child’s name on everything that s/he brings to school.

I would like to remind parents that Muintir Chrónáin have instructed us that cars are not permitted through the gates of Áras Chrónáin. Children may be walked through the pedestrian gate beside the main gate or through the gate at the back of the Áras from Orchard Road . When parents are collecting their children please wait in the school yard and collect them when they come out from the classrooms. All children collected early or for appointments must be collected from the office so as not to disturb the class work. Lunches and messages can also be dropped off to the office.

There is a lot of talk these days about what we are feeding our children. At Gaelscoil na Camóige we have a successful healthy lunch policy in operation for some years now. Children are only permitted to bring drinks and foods to school that are healthy. Food containing nuts are also not permitted.

Our insurers ask us to remind parents that the school opens at 8.50 a.m. and finishes at 1.30 p.m. for infants and 2.30 p.m. for all other classes. The school cannot be responsible for children outside of these times. I would ask all parents to be punctual in leaving the children to school in the morning and collecting them in the afternoon.
