The link between school and home is an extremely important one in a child’s education. A child will benefit from good communication between parents and the class teacher. In Gaelscoil na Camóige we encourage parents to take an active part in their children’s education. It is a huge help for a child if a parent can sit down and help them with their homework. It can be very useful in the development of the child if parents help with homework and encourage children in their schoolwork.
The Home-School links take a more active role in our parent’s committee called CAIRDE (meaning friends). Every parent is a member of the committee and welcome to join in. The committee is a group of parents who come together to help out in the school in whatever way they can.
