Seachtain na Gaeilge ran from the 29th February to the 11th March 2016. The children took part in activities such as Yoga with Múinteoir Ciarán, Zumba with Múinteoir Siobhán and a music workshop with Múinteoir Shay. Rang 2 also had a Skype session with a class from Gaelscoil na Mí. The children thoroughly enjoyed partaking in all of the activities.
On the 4th of June, Rang 1 and Rang 2 went on their school tour to Fort Lucan. We all had a wonderful day. The weather was amazing and everyone was very excited about the day ahead. Maths Day took place in school last week. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. In the morning we took part in paired Maths with Rang 6. We played Maths games in groups and pairs. It was great fun. We made calenders during Art with Múinteoir Olivia in the afternoon. Paired Maths will take place every Wednesday with Rang 6. We cannot wait!
