Gaelscoil na Camóige have been taking part in An Taisce Green Schools Programme. Our school has been very successful to date in running the first three themes of the programme: Litter & Waste, Energy and Water. Over the past year, our school has taken part in the 4th theme in the Green Schools programme: Travel.
Last year we were awarded our fourth Green Flag for Travel. We were very proud of our achievements. Bernard Dunne came to school to raise the flag. He visited the classes and he showed us the belts he won from his world championship belts in boxing.
We will be working towards achieving our fifth flag for the Biodiversity theme over the next two years.
