On the 13th March 2015 Rang 3 had a fantastic day. The school was celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge and all of the children were dressed up for the parade around the school yard. After the parade, Rang 3 went onto a bus to go into the City Centre. Múinteoir Aoife and Jacinta went with them and the class were on their way to The Natural History Museum!
When we arrived at the Museum we were all very excited. Unfortunately we had a bad start as the man at the desk had no record of our booking and did not know that we were due to visit. Luckily, after a few phone calls we were allowed in!
It was excellent. We were allowed to spend time looking at all the different animals upstairs and downstairs. It was very interesting and when we were all ready we ate our lunch on the benches outside.
We had about a half an hour left so we went across the road to a playground. It was brilliant with slides, swings, bridges etc. We did not want to leave but eventually the time came to return to the school.
We arrived back at Gaelscoil na Camóige in time to go home. Every child and teacher had a wonderful day.
