An historic day in Croke Park

An historic day in Croke Park was had yesterday when Gaelscoil na Camóige’s camoige team won the INTO Sciath. This the first time in the school’s history that teams have gone and won in Croke Park twice in the one year! What a DOUBLE! Go to Gallery to see more pictures.


Family Day in Gaelscoil na Camóige

Family Day is taking place on 11/6/16 from 1-5pm. Bígí linn!   Don’t forget – the Family Day is THIS Saturday 11th June. There will be food and drinks, bouncy castles, The Kube, a Selfie Station and loads more so do come along all family and friends are welcome.

School trip to Scoil Éanna 27/4/16

On the 27th of April, Rang 5 and Rang 6 went on a school trip to Scoil Éanna. The children have been learning all about 1916 throughout the year and so this trip was extremely interesting for them. When we arrived, we were brought on a tour of the school. The pupils got a great insight into what life was like for the children

Immersion Education starting in September 2016

Athletics

The first race of the season takes place today at 11am on the pitch beside the swimming pool. The children will be leaving school at 10:35 and will be returning again by 12:20. Best of luck to them all! There is no Athletics training after school today. 


St. Brigid’s Cross (1-2-16)

Today is St. Brigid’s day and to celebration this very special day, Rang 6 made St. Brigid’s crosses in class. We were very lucky because Múinteoir Eilís brought in rushes for us to use. We had a very busy afternoon making them but it was really enjoyable!


Tuning Instruments with Pól Mac Reachtain

A Chairde, Next Wednesday, Pól Mac Reachtain will be presenting a short class to parents on how to tune instruments. The class will take place Wednesday, 27th January at 2.30 in Naíonán Bheaga. He will be teaching parents how to tune fiddles. The session will only take around 10 minutes and would be extremely beneficial for those parents who have children attending music classes.
