On the 27th of April, Rang 5 and Rang 6 went on a school trip to Scoil Éanna. The children have been learning all about 1916 throughout the year and so this trip was extremely interesting for them.
When we arrived, we were brought on a tour of the school. The pupils got a great insight into what life was like for the children who attended the school.
We also attended a talk that was given by Morgan Llywelyn, a well known children’s author. There was a questions and answers session at the end and pupils were able to ask her questions.
We had our lunch outside and also had some time to play in the park next to the school. A great day was had by all.
