Major School Building Projects

I am delighted to say that Gaelscoil na Camóige are now on the List of Major Projects announced by the Minister O’Sullivan on the 17th November! The project will proceed to construction in 2017.  


Croke Park 3rd November

Congratulations to the girls football team!

The girls football team are on their way to Croke Park! Last Wednesday Gaelscoil na Camóige played their semi final against Scoil Solas Críost. They all played absolutely brilliantly and in the end they were victorious! They are playing the final in Croke Park against Scoil Dominic on Tuesday, 3 November, 11am. There will be a letter going home next week with all the information. Maith sibh

Up the Dubs !

Congratulations to Jim Gavin and the Dublin senior footballers who won the All-Ireland final yesterday. Sam Maguire is coming back to the capital! The team gave a brave and spirited performance in what were terrible conditions in Croke Park. We had a ‘Big Blue Day’ on Friday last to show our support for the lads. We managed to raise over €330 on the day.

First game of the year for the girls football team.

Gaelscoil na Camóige girls football team have their first match of the year this Wednesday, 9/9/15. They will be playing St. Damians, Perrystown. Throw in is at 3pm in Robert Emmets pitch, beside St. Damians school. We wish them all the very best in their matches!

Round Tower GAA Club Summer Camps 2015

Are you worried about how the kids will put in those long summer days? Look no further! Round Tower GAA club have the answer. They will be running two GAA camps in July. Develop the skills of the game, have fun and make new friends in a safe, supervised environment. More information is available from the flyer (see attached photo)


84th Annual Friendship Games

The very best of luck to Holly Gregg and Megan Hoyte from rang a 5 who will be participating in the 84th Annual Friendship Games on Friday the of 12th of June in Belfast. They will represent Dublin in camogie against a selection from Belfast. We are all very proud of you here in the school.  


Visit from the new Junior Infants!

The new Junior Infants will be coming in this Thursday, June 11th from 13:45-14:15 to see their new classroom and to meet their teacher, Múinteoir Eimear.
