Massive congratulations to the under 11 hurling team who won their Go Games league yesterday. The boys had 4 wins from 4 before yesterday’s final round match against GS Naomh Pádraig in Lucan Sarsfields. The boys raced into an early lead and never looked like losing a grip on the game. Our midfield supplied our forwards with plenty of ball which was duly fired to the back of the net. Our defence stood tall in the second half when pressure came from the opposition. It was a historic victory for this group of talented players as it meant a Go Games double. For the first time since the school was founded the football and hurling was won in the same year! A huge thank you also to múinteoir Oisín who took charge of the team. Gaelscoil na Camóige would also like to take this opportunity to thank Round Towers Clondalkin for their continued, tireless work in training these young players. The success of your nursery is clear to see in the determination and commitment of these boys. A presentation party will be organised in June to honour our successful year.
